Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 225g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the chicken breasts evenly inside.
Step 2:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chicken broth, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Step 3:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
Step 4:
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top for added flavor and a slightly golden finish.
Step 5:
Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the top is lightly golden. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving, then garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is softened before mixing to avoid lumps in the sauce. Do not overbake the chicken, as it can become dry—use a meat thermometer if possible (internal temperature should reach 75°C / 165°F). If the sauce thickens too much, add a small amount of broth to loosen it.
