  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

🍊 For the Orange Cream Filling

  • 1 package (3 ounces) orange Jello gelatin
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed

🍦 For the Topping

  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Orange zest
  • Mandarin orange segments
  • White chocolate curls
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

In a medium bowl combine:

  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Melted butter
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Mix until evenly moistened.

Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.

Step 2: Dissolve the Jello

In a small bowl combine:

  • Orange Jello
  • Boiling water

Whisk until completely dissolved.

Allow it to cool for about 10–15 minutes, but do not let it set.

Step 3: Prepare the Cream Filling

In a large mixing bowl beat:

  • Cream cheese

until smooth and creamy.

Add:

  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Vanilla extract
  • Orange extract
  • Orange zest

Mix until smooth.

Slowly pour in the cooled orange gelatin while mixing.

Continue beating until fully combined.

Step 4: Fold in the Whipped Topping

Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped topping into the orange mixture.

Fold until the filling is light, fluffy, and no streaks remain.

Avoid overmixing to keep the filling airy.

Step 5: Assemble the Pie

Pour the filling into the chilled graham cracker crust.

Spread evenly with an offset spatula.

Cover with plastic wrap.

Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, until completely set.

Step 6: Decorate

Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream.

Garnish with:

  • Fresh orange zest
  • Mandarin orange slices
  • White chocolate curls
  • Mint leaves

Step 7: Slice and Serve

Use a sharp knife dipped in warm water for clean slices.

Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Allow the gelatin to cool slightly before adding it to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the richest texture.
  • Fold the whipped topping gently to maintain a light filling.
  • Chill overnight for the cleanest slices.
  • Keep the pie refrigerated until serving.
  • Fresh orange zest provides the brightest citrus flavor.
