Ingredients
For the Chicken:

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (or milk)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or lemon juice)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
Instructions
Step 1:
In a bowl, season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Step 2:
In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk together.
Step 3:
Mix flour and cornstarch in a separate bowl.
Step 4:
Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture. Repeat for extra crispiness if desired.
Step 5:
Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F). Fry chicken in batches for 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 6:
In a saucepan, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and vinegar. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Step 8:
Add cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens into a glossy consistency.
Step 9:
