Grandma’s No-Bake Strawberry Delight is the kind of dessert that instantly brings back memories of family gatherings, Sunday dinners, church potlucks, and summer celebrations. This beloved layered dessert combines a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, luscious strawberry layer, and fluffy whipped topping into one irresistible treat.

Ingredients

Scale

🍓 For the Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

🍓 For the Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed

🍓 For the Strawberry Layer

  • 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

🍓 For the Topping

  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish
  • Graham cracker crumbs for sprinkling

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

In a medium bowl, combine:

  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Melted butter
  • Sugar

Mix until the crumbs resemble wet sand.

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.

Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Layer

In a large bowl, beat together:

  • Softened cream cheese
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Mix until smooth and creamy.

Fold in one container of whipped topping.

Spread evenly over the chilled crust.

Return to the refrigerator.

Step 3: Prepare the Strawberry Layer

In a bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.

Stir until completely dissolved.

Add cold water and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Fold in sliced strawberries.

Carefully spoon the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.

Refrigerate until slightly set, about 30–45 minutes.

Step 4: Add the Final Topping

Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the strawberry layer.

Smooth with a spatula for a clean finish.

Garnish with fresh strawberries and graham cracker crumbs.

Step 5: Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Slice into squares and serve chilled.

The longer it chills, the better the flavor and texture become.

Notes

  • Allow cream cheese to soften fully before mixing.
  • Cool gelatin slightly before adding it to prevent melting the cream layer.
  • Chill thoroughly for clean slices.
  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • A glass dish beautifully showcases the layers.
  • Store refrigerated at all times.
