Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bites (Easy, Elegant & No-Bake)

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and dried completely

  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped or chips

  • Optional toppings:

    • White chocolate drizzle

    • Sprinkles

    • Chopped nuts

    • Shredded coconut


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries

Wash strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with paper towels. Remove stems and cut strawberries in half or into bite-sized pieces. Make sure they are fully dry to help the chocolate adhere properly.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt chocolate using a double boiler.

Step 3: Dip the Strawberry Bites

Using a fork or toothpick, dip each strawberry piece into the melted chocolate, coating it fully or halfway, depending on preference. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Step 4: Add Toppings

While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with desired toppings or drizzle with melted white chocolate for decoration.

Step 5: Set the Chocolate

 

Place chocolate-covered strawberry bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.

Notes

  • Strawberries must be completely dry before dipping.

  • Avoid overheating chocolate to prevent seizing.

  • Work quickly once chocolate is melted.

 

  • Chocolate firms faster in a cool room or refrigerator.
