Description

Carrabba’s Chicken Bryan is a beloved restaurant-style dish known for its rich, tangy, and creamy flavor combination. This recipe features perfectly seasoned grilled or pan-seared chicken breasts topped with a luscious lemon butter sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and melted cheese, creating a dish that’s both elegant and comforting.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Topping:

  • 4 slices mozzarella or goat cheese
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

Step 3: Make Lemon Butter Sauce

In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add white wine (if using) and let it reduce slightly.

Step 4: Add Cream and Lemon

Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice. Let the sauce simmer gently.

Step 5: Add Tomatoes and Cheese

Add sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 6: Assemble

Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over each piece. Add cheese slices on top.

Step 7: Melt Cheese

Cover the pan or place in oven briefly until cheese melts.

Notes

Do not boil the sauce after adding cream, as it can separate. Keep it at a gentle simmer.
