Ingredients
-
6 cups crispy rice cereal or corn cereal squares
-
4 cups mini pretzels (twists or sticks)
-
2 cups roasted peanuts or mixed nuts
-
2 cups candy-coated chocolates (or chocolate chips)
-
24 oz white chocolate chips or white almond bark
-
Optional add-ins:
-
Mini marshmallows
-
M&M-style candies
-
Holiday sprinkles
-
Dried cranberries
-
Instructions
In a very large bowl, combine the cereal, pretzels, nuts, and candies. Gently toss to evenly distribute all ingredients.
Place white chocolate chips or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth.
Carefully pour the melted white chocolate over the snack mix. Work slowly to ensure even coating.
Using a spatula, gently fold the mixture until everything is evenly coated. Be careful not to crush the cereal or pretzels.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the coated snack mix in an even layer.
If using sprinkles or extra candies, sprinkle them on top before the chocolate sets.
Allow the snack mix to cool at room temperature for about 30–45 minutes, or place in the refrigerator for faster setting.
Once fully set, break the mix into clusters or pieces.
Notes
-
Use high-quality white chocolate for smooth melting.
-
Avoid overheating chocolate—it can seize.
-
Stir gently to prevent crushing ingredients.
-
Let fully set before storing to avoid sticking.
