1 box strawberry cake mix

⅓ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs, room temperature

¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

24–30 chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Optional: pink or red sanding sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
Scoop dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar or sanding sugar for extra sparkle.
Place dough balls on prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
Remove cookies from the oven and immediately press one chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Cookies will crack slightly—this is normal. Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring.
