Strawberry Heaven on Earth Cake – Easy No-Bake Strawberry Dessert

For the Cake Layers:

  • 1 prepared angel food cake (or sponge cake), cut into cubes
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

For the Cream Layer:

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups cold milk
  • 1 cup sour cream

For the Topping:

 

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Additional fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

Step 1:

In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened.

Step 2:

Add sour cream to the pudding mixture and mix until creamy and well combined.

Step 3:

In a 9×13-inch dish, layer half of the cubed angel food cake evenly across the bottom.

Step 4:

Spread half of the strawberry pie filling over the cake layer.

Step 5:

Add a layer of sliced fresh strawberries.

Step 6:

Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the strawberries.

Step 7:

Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, strawberry filling, strawberries, and pudding mixture.

Step 8:

Spread whipped topping evenly over the final layer.

Step 9:

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.

Step 10:

 

Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the dessert well for best texture
  • Use fresh strawberries for better flavor
  • Do not overmix pudding to maintain thickness
  • Assemble gently to keep layers intact
  • Serve cold for best results
