Every bite delivers a perfect balance of fruity freshness and indulgent sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cake:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (pureed)

For the Cream Filling:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

For the Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Pinch of salt

For Decoration:

  • Fresh strawberries (halved)
  • Caramel drizzle
  • Optional: whipped cream or strawberry crumbs

Instructions

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two or three round cake pans with parchment paper. This ensures easy removal after baking.

Step 2:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3:
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

Step 4:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined, then gently fold in the strawberry puree.

Step 5:
Divide the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cakes cool completely.

Notes

  • Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for smoother mixing.
  • Do not overmix the batter, as it may result in a dense cake.
  • Let caramel cool slightly before drizzling to achieve the perfect consistency.
