Protein Cottage Cheese Flourless Brownies – Healthy High-Protein Dessert

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

 

  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2:

In a blender or food processor, blend the cottage cheese until completely smooth. This step is important to avoid a lumpy texture.

Step 3:

Add the eggs, cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), peanut butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the blender.

Step 4:

Blend everything until you get a smooth, thick batter.

Step 5:

Fold in chocolate chips if using for extra richness.

Step 6:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Step 7:

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly soft for a fudgy texture.

Step 8:

 

Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely before slicing.
