Description
These pinwheels are ideal for holiday gatherings, potlucks, game nights, or any celebration where finger foods shine. Not only are they incredibly easy to prepare, but they also require minimal cooking, making them a go-to option when you’re short on time but still want to impress your guests.
Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
- ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
Step 1:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Step 2:
Add the drained crushed pineapple, chopped cranberries, green onions, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until evenly combined.
Step 3:
Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture across the entire tortilla.
Step 4:
Roll the tortilla tightly into a log, making sure the filling stays evenly distributed.
Step 5:
Wrap the rolled tortillas in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to firm up.
Notes
Make sure the pineapple is thoroughly drained to avoid excess moisture, which can make the tortillas soggy. Chilling the rolled tortillas is essential for clean, neat slices. Use a sharp knife to cut the pinwheels evenly without squishing them.
