Ingredients
-
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
1 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
-
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
½ teaspoon paprika
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise (or sour cream), parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper until smooth.
Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, covering them completely.
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and topping is lightly golden. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
-
Do not overbake—use a thermometer for best results.
-
Thicker chicken breasts may need extra time.
-
Topping locks in moisture, preventing dryness.
-
Resting time keeps juices inside the chicken.
