Instructions
Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Prepare and bake the cake in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes evenly across the entire surface of the cake. Make sure the holes go deep enough for filling to seep in.
Prepare instant pudding by whisking pudding mix with cold milk. Divide into separate bowls and tint each portion with different pastel food colors.
Spoon colored pudding into the holes, alternating colors for a vibrant look. Spread any remaining pudding evenly over the surface. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to set.
Spread whipped topping evenly over the cake. Tint shredded coconut green and sprinkle on top to resemble grass. Decorate with bunny candies and Easter treats.
Notes
Allow the cake to cool slightly before adding pudding. If the cake is too hot, the pudding may become runny instead of setting properly.
