Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
- 1/4 cup chocolate frosting or melted chocolate (for decorating)
- Halloween sprinkles or candy stars (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a few chocolate chips at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle up into a loose cone, starting at the wide end and shaping into a hat with a pointed tip.
- Gently curve the tip to one side to give the “hat” a whimsical bend.
- Place the shaped hats on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter if using.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then decorate with chocolate frosting to form hat bands or buckles.
- Add sprinkles, candy stars, or a light dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- Try Nutella, peanut butter, or mini marshmallows as fillings.
- Make them savory by stuffing with cheese and herbs.
- Let kids add their own sprinkles or candies for extra fun.
- Serve warm for maximum gooey goodness.
