Crack Chicken Alfredo Dump Casserole – Creamy Cheesy Easy Bake

  • Author: twiza amys

Ingredients

Scale

For the Casserole:

  • 2 cups uncooked penne or rotini pasta

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or homemade)

  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup milk or heavy cream

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-friendly)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened

Optional Toppings:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

  • Extra cheese for topping

Instructions

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl, combine Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, milk (or cream), ranch seasoning, minced garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.

Step 3:

Add the uncooked pasta directly into the baking dish. Spread it evenly across the bottom.

Step 4:

Layer the shredded chicken evenly over the pasta.

Step 5:

Pour the prepared Alfredo mixture over the chicken and pasta, ensuring everything is well covered.

Step 6:

Add small dollops of cream cheese across the top for extra creaminess.

Step 7:

Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap moisture and ensure the pasta cooks properly.

Step 8:

Bake for 40 minutes. This allows the pasta to absorb the liquid and soften.

Step 9:

Remove the foil, stir gently to combine, then sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Step 10:

Return to the oven uncovered and bake for another 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.

Step 11:

Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow it to thicken.

Notes

  • Make sure the pasta is fully submerged in liquid before baking

  • Stir halfway through if your oven heats unevenly

  • Use high-quality Alfredo sauce for best flavor

  • Avoid overbaking to prevent dry pasta

  • Let the dish rest before serving for a thicker texture
