Description
- One of the best parts about this recipe is its versatility. Whether you’re hosting a gathering, preparing a dessert platter, or just craving something sweet, these chocolate-dipped Bugles cones are guaranteed to impress. Plus, they come together in under 40 minutes without ever turning on the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Bugles (original flavor)
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet chocolate)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother chocolate)
Instructions
Start by lining a baking tray with parchment paper. This will prevent sticking and make cleanup easier. Set all your ingredients within reach for a smooth process.
Transfer the marshmallow creme into a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a small corner cut off. Carefully pipe the marshmallow filling into each Bugle, filling them about three-quarters full. Avoid overfilling, as the filling may spill out during dipping.
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20–30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. If desired, stir in coconut oil or butter to achieve a glossy and silky texture.
Hold each filled Bugle by the pointed end and dip the open side into the melted chocolate. Gently twist to coat evenly. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing it on the prepared tray.
Place the dipped cones on the parchment-lined tray and allow them to set. You can leave them at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate hardens completely.
Notes
- Always melt chocolate slowly to avoid burning.
- If the chocolate becomes too thick, add a small amount of coconut oil to loosen it.
- Work in batches if your kitchen is warm to prevent melting or sticking.
