- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot coffee

- 200g dark chocolate (chopped)
For the Chocolate Ganache:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 200g semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly stir in hot coffee (batter will be thin).
- Pour into pans and bake for 30–35 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, cream, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Frost the cake generously and decorate as desired.
Notes
Always use hot coffee instead of water—it enhances the chocolate flavor without making the cake taste like coffee. Also, avoid overbaking, as it can dry out the cake. Check with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
