Banana Chia Honey Milk Pudding – Creamy, Healthy & Naturally Sweet

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh banana slices

  • Berries

  • Chopped nuts

  • Shredded coconut

  • Granola


Instructions

Step 1: Mash the Bananas

In a medium bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Add Liquid Ingredients

Stir in milk, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: Add Chia Seeds

Add chia seeds and whisk thoroughly to prevent clumping.

Step 4: Rest and Stir Again

Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to ensure even distribution of chia seeds.

Step 5: Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until thickened.

Step 6: Stir Before Serving

Stir well before serving. If too thick, add a splash of milk.

Step 7: Add Toppings

Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola.

Step 8: Serve Cold

 

Serve chilled for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.

  • Stir twice during initial setting to prevent clumps.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.

  • Allow full chilling time for best consistency.
